Most individuals over the course of the end of the week were watching Wimbledon for the Men’s and Women’s title matches notwithstanding the 2019 Cricket World Cup. The 2019 Formula One British Grand Prix at Silverstone was somewhat eclipsed by these two occasions. However, for the individuals who watched it, Daniel Craig, who plays James Bond and is as of now shooting portions of the upcoming “Bond 25” film, was in attendance for the race won by English driver Lewis Hamilton. What’s more, he had something extraordinary on the wrist.
What grabbed my attention was the Omega watch on Daniel Craig’s wrist. Indeed, I realize the brand is the official watch of 007, however Craig was wearing Omega before he was given a role as the 6th James Bond, so he was a devotee of the brand already. This 2004 photo shows him wearing a Speedmaster Automatic:
Craig was shot visiting the circuit and the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing group’s offices by group head Christian Horner. “007” logo decals could be seen on both of the Red Bull vehicles, as a component of the promoting for the upcoming film.
What watch was Craig wearing? Not the standard Seamaster jumper or Speedmaster but rather a Seamaster Bullhead Chronograph! For what reason is the watch nicknamed Bullhead? Since the crown and the pushers are at the 12 o’clock position looking into it, which takes after the head and horns of a bull.
Craig was donning the reference 188.8.131.52.01.001, which has a 43mm steel case with a dark dial and red accents and is self-winding. Notwithstanding the chronograph, it has a bi-directional 12-hour bezel which is turned by means of the crown at the 6 o’clock position.
Perfectly fitting for a Formula One race!
P.S. While shooting “Bond 25”, James Bond has been donning an uncommon Omega Seamaster 300 Diver, which seems to be a piece created particularly for the film. It has a lattice wristband, beige accents and what seems to be an uncommon marking on the dial.
