Regulators have been a Chronoswiss brand name for more than 30 years. Motivated by days gone by exactness ace clocks, their trademark show isolates time signs for accuracy time perusing. The Lucerne-based watchmaker has planned different cycles of this conventional watch type, and now present a 50-piece restricted version in brilliant electric blue.
Presented at Baselworld 2019, the Flying Grand Regulator Open Gear ReSec (for Retrograde Seconds) stands apart with its raised, gliding show, making a striking feeling of profundity. At 6 o’clock, a retrograde second makes a perky movement: its hand voyaging 120° before quickly bouncing back to nothing, every 30 seconds.
If you are sure about your capacity to wear striking tones or like to stick out, the electric blue DLC-steel adaptation is unquestionably the bolder cycle of the model. It comes in a blue-on-blue case, dial and tie combination. The round, chamber case is 44mm in width. It includes the brand’s unmistakable onion crown, straight drags and side knurling. It is water-impervious to 100m/10ATM. The hand-guilloché dial has chamber formed files fitted with radiant material for ideal clarity. At 3 o’clock is an identification, engraved with the individual restricted version number of the watch.
Inside is the programmed Chronoswiss type C. 301. It depends on a widely altered ETA 2895, the variant of the attempted and-tried 2892, yet with little seconds rather than focal seconds. The regulator/retrograde seconds system is completely produced and planned in-house by Chronoswiss. The development works at 28,800 with a force hold of 42 hours. A stop-seconds component takes into account exact time setting. Obvious through the screw-down show case back, the development is designed with Geneva stripes and pèrlage. The open-worked rotor is blued to coordinate the shading theme of the watch.
The Chronoswiss Flying Grand Regulator Open Gear ReSec is introduced on a Hornback crocodile leather tie got to the wrist by a collapsing clasp. The retail cost of this 50-piece restricted release is set at CHF 9,900. For more data, if it’s not too much trouble, visit www.chronoswiss.com
